Homers story

Homer is a joy to own. He is the “man” in my pack and is constantly harassed for his attention by all the girls. He is a gorgeous boy who came from a working line and although it took nearly a year, he has finally settled into being a “pet” and loves nothing more than sitting on the couch! There once was a time when he would try to climb out of windows to get back outside.

He has retired from working due to a toe being removed through a tumour but will still come down onto the beach and run canicross with me. He is nick named The Littlest Homer because he looks like The Littlest Hobo!

He is best buddies with my girl Star who tells him off half heartedly for cleaning her ears and face. (I know she really loves this attention!) He must be close to 9 or 10 now but still looks and acts like a spring chicken.

Seeing the change in him, from a kennel dog to the couch boy, has been well worth the effort and time.

Here are just a small selection of some of the Siberian Huskies
we have re-homed.
