Jaspers story

Jasper came to us back in 2004, my dad transported him to his new home and he only lasted one day, we decided to foster him and assess him for the SSHC welfare and well as you can guess we fell in love with him and so he stayed.

When he first arrived he did growl at me but we just put it down to him being confused as he had been moved about, the people that had him for one day said he had bitten, but he showed no signs of real aggression. We took him to our vet for a check up and we told the vet that he had bitten, after dealing with Jasper the vet said that he was not aggressive and it was probably to do more with him being unsettled because of getting moved around.

As time went on Jasper became part of our pack it was as if he had always been with us. Jasper has a special bond with me he will follow me around the house if he is inside and he sometimes sleeps on my bed. If my mum goes out to the run when I am at school he will run into the house and upstairs to my room to look for me and if he is not put back out he will lie on my bed until I get home from school, its so sweet. He loves doing public events as he loves all the attention that he gets from the children. He runs on my dads six dog team, and when out training he runs with a nine or ten dog team. He is our lovely red boy he has a lovely nature with people and other dogs but not cats or other small animals and we would not part with him for all the money in the world.

Here are just a small selection of some of the Siberian Huskies
we have re-homed.
