For SSHC Members Only

If you wish to compete for the annual awards you must keep a tally of the points your dog/s have won at each show throughout the year. These should be sent to Laurna McKie after the last championship show of the year. All data must be received before the 31st January of the following year.

 

Championship Show Points

Only one class place, the highest per show counts.

1st = 5 pts, 2nd = 4 pts, 3rd = 3 pts, Res = 2 pts, VHC = 1 pt.

CC = 7 pts, RCC = 5 pts, BOB = 1 pt.

Group 1st = 4 pts, 2nd = 3 pts, 3rd = 2pts and 4th = 1 pt.

Reserve Best In Show = 2 pts.

Best In Show = 4 pts.

 

For the Top Puppy competition, a Best Puppy gets an extra 5 pts to add to the ones gained in their class.

For the Top Stud or Top Brood competition list each of the progeny separately with the placing, stating where it was won. Add together all the points gained by each dog or bitch's progeny, including any extra points for Best Puppy.

 

Please remember that the onus is on you the exhibitor to send in your dog's points otherwise they cannot be included in the final list.

 

Open Shows Points

If you wish to compete for the annual Open Show, Best Dog and Best Bitch, awards you must also keep a tally of the points your dog/s have won at each open held in Scotland, throughout the year, including our club shows. All data must be received before the 31st January of the following year.

 

Only one class place, the highest per show counts.

1st = 4 pts, 2nd = 3 pts, 3rd = 2 pts, 4th = 1 pt.

Best Of Breed = 2 pts.

Group 1st = 4 pts, 2nd = 3 pts, 3rd = 2pts and 4th = 1 pt.

Reserve Best In Show = 3 pts

Best In Show = 5 pts
