Inca Update (Read 1229 times)

Posts: 43 Gender:	Inca Update 30.11.09 at 18:20:48 Hi Everyone, Inca had Her sugery today and She's sleeping soundly at the minute, in a bit of pain and very groggy... the Vet said She got all the lesions, hope to have the biopsy results back by Friday or Monday, I hope it's Friday as waiting is the hardest part!...Please keep your fingers crossed for Her... Posts: 43 Gender:	Re: Inca Update Reply #4 - 02.12.09 at 19:29:00 Hi Everyone, Thanx for All your well wishes for Inca...She was a bad little Husky yesterday and pulled out all Her stitches, so an Emergency run to the Vet and another General Anaesthetic to be stitched up again, now wearing a Collar and bigger bandage on the site, She's tough as nails this girl! Posts: 43 Gender:	Re: Inca Update Reply #6 - 07.12.09 at 23:03:50 Hi Everyone, We received the results of Inca's Biopsy this evening and She's got an aggressive mass cell carcinoma, have to take Her for X Ray in the morning to see If it has spread or not, so fingers still crossed for Her! I'm hoping and being optimistic that they removed it on time. Siobhan.

HI Everyone,

Thanx for all your well wishes for Inca...The X Ray of Her Chest shows the Cancer hasn't spread to Her lungs so that's good news however the Vet let me read the Biopsy Report and it's not good, possible Metastases, I found another Growth on Her left back leg yesterday and as a Nurse I know it has spread unfortunately, and we don't know what internal organs are affected either, however after a long chat with the Vet we've decided to let Her live Her remaining days/months with our wee pack and see how She does, If She gets unwell we'll give Her sleep, She's eating and drinking well and enjoys Her daily Cani-Walks.

We were only home 10 minutes last Tuesday when a chap came to the door asking If we could take His one year old Sibe Diesel, He just didn't have the time to give Him the attention He needs so we went to have a wee look at Him and ended up bringing Him home last Wednesday. We had Him neutered last Friday and microchipped and booster jab done and He's settled in so well with our wee pack...very nice quiet boy He is, attaching a pic...
